We know the cops will listen to anything criminals tell them... the use of criminal informants and all...

Now we can add psychics to the list of fools the cops will listen to then run off ready to call in SWAT Teams and Choppers to kick in some poor guys front door...

Houston cops go off on a search for 30 bodies on some poor smucks property armed with nothing more than a phoned in tip from a psychic...

If this is what passes for law enforcement these days were are so fucked...

Dumb ass Texas cop gives 10 year old traffic ticket...

A Texas cop gave a 10 year old boy a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt properly, problem is under Texas law you cannot even commit such an offense until your 15 years old...

Do cops even go to the police academy anymore and are they required to actually learn anything?

And yet the police wonder why the public is radially losing faith in them...

Its about damn time!

Solon.com is reporting that the US Department of Justice is launching an investigation into systematic civil rights abuses such as harassment of racial minorities, false arrests, illegal searches, and excessive use of force by big-city police departments.

Well its about damn time guys! These investigations called "patterns and practices" investigations come from a 1994 law passed by Congress after the brutal beating of Rodney King by the LAPD. While this is a welcome revelation we would like to point out that the problem is much wider than "big-city police departments". As The National Police Misconduct Statistic and Reporting Project shows us each and everyday. The problems of police misconduct and crimes committed by the police stretch from the NYPD and LAPD to Smallville USA... for this to have the impact it should, the US DOJ needs to look at the wider abuses by medium and small police departments as well.

But until then, this is a very good and much needed step in the right direction.

Hats off to the US DOJ!

Why do so many still fall for the lie?

Why do so many still believe there is only one set of laws that govern us all? I mean, come on folks…

Do you honestly believe that our elected officials, our judges and prosecutors and our cops would allow themselves to be held to the same standards and laws as the peasants and serfs?

Just recently we were treated with "shocking" revelations from Valerie Richardson at the Washington Times that members of Congress are exempt from insider trading laws… and they are free to vote on legislation that will have s direct impact their stock portfolio and they can use knowledge they gain from their Congressional activities when they manage their stocks…

According to the US Securities and Exchange Commission they have prosecuted government employees for using knowledge because of their employment by the government to guide their trades. But Congress has made damn sure the SEC can't touch them…

Judges , prosecutors and cops are altogether another animal who are all afforded special privileges across the whole board due to their "status"… cops are repeatedly being allowed to "walk free" of any criminal prosecution due to "qualified immunity". Even in the face of substantial evidence, by their buddies in the prosecutors offices all across this country for crimes that you and I would be jailed, without bond and have the full force the the state brought to bear upon us…

Cops will arrest you at the drop of a hat for complete bullshit, which usually get tossed out of court or dismissed. But still at great cost to you and your family… bond, lawyers, lost time from work or even a lost job altogether… and on and on… but the cops are given such latitude and leeway at times they will walk for full-blown felony crimes.

Prosecutors are no different, each of them given the same golden treatment the cops get and then some… theirs is called "prosecutorial immunity"…

Judges can pretty much get away with anything even knowingly putting innocent people in jail, and you nor I can't do anything about it… you can't even sue them… they have what is called "judicial immunity" that protects them from lawsuits brought against them for official misconduct in office, no matter how incompetent, negligent, or malicious such conduct might be, even if this conduct is in violation of criminal law.

Must be nice, you can break the law and get away with it no matter what, so long as you are wearing a black robe…
